Coffee BrandBranding and Logo Design
Brief:
Created brand identity and art direction for coffee brand, Special Care Coffee.
Inspiration:
For the design, I pulled inspiration from Japanese cafes and minimalistic sculpture. So I looked to the curves of Isamu Noguchi and Barbara Hepworth’s sculptures to create the icon logo of a coffee bean. I wanted a clean neutral background.
Brand Ethos:
Simple, Minimal, Relaxed, Quality
Design:
I kept the logotype clean, connecting the repeating f’s in the coffee for balance. For the logomark of a coffee bean, I wanted a few variations for different logo usage on bags and brand materials. The tone of the brand is cute, cheeky, and minimalist, which I brought out in some of the printed quotes on the canvas totes and inside the shopping bags.
